Atelier Foksal

This is an invitation for all, who had been dreaming about drawing or painting but haven’t had a chance to practice it yet. If so, Atelier Foksal is the place you have been looking for.

Atelier Foksal is open to all, who are interested in creative work, searching for new forms of expression, wishing to develop their talents, no matter what age they are, and the level of advancement they have. We do not require any previous experience; we offer you all necessary materials, high quality teaching methods, and a pleasant atmosphere for your artistic explorations.

Atelier Foksal is situated in a 19th century building in the very centre of Warsaw. Its well-equipped and beautiful space is inspiring for people, who wish to paint and draw. Eminent artists and lecturers of great teaching experience tutor small groups. The method of teaching is based on direct personal contact between master and adept in the form of individual tutorial.

For those, who want to improve their artistic skills or truly prepare themselves for entry exams to all faculties of art academies, we offer intensive programs throughout the academic year from September onwards.

Flexible programs adjusted to individual needs and abilities, including beginner and advanced levels consist of:

- model drawing - outlines and studies;
- painting: poster, water colours and oil paints;
- various interesting still life compositions;
- exercises in developing observation skills and the ability to arrange plane surfaces and space;
- history of art classes, including lectures and visits to various exhibitions.

Individual tutorial guarantees comfort of work, and gives visible results. Working in a team is an added value: you can exchange experience and share opinion with people with similar interests. From the beginning of September we offer classes everyday from Monday to Saturday, mornings and evenings as well. You can choose a full program or attend drawing or painting lessons only, in accordance with your personal needs.

We also organise workshops for children: they can draw and paint, develop their manual skills and imagination, work individually or in an artistic team. The purpose of our classes is to provide all necessary support for the natural creativity of each and every child via the joy of activities, and the joy of learning. Our program of creative education has already proved its value during the more than thirteen years of our operation.

Atelier Foundation exists since 1991.
